In the mid 80’s when golf started to grow in Northern Michigan, Ron Otto designed for new and spectacular courses.  The Swampfire golf course opened in 1987, while the Monarch and Reflections courses opened in 1990.  The Fountains golf course opened in 1995, the newest of course, Sanctuary, is under construction is slated to open in 2010.  Ron Otto has created beautiful layouts that fit naturally in the Northern Michigan environment.
